The platform

One platform that is four things at once.

Validator, factory, operator, marketplace — Synapse takes an idea all the way to a transferable, revenue-generating asset.

Validator

A free VC audit tells you whether the idea is worth building — and whether it fits autonomous AI execution. No signup required.

Factory

Three build modes — template in minutes, modules in hours, from scratch in days. 40+ templates pre-built by agents before launch.

Operator

A virtual CEO coordinates teams of agents and humans across engineering, marketing, sales, support, and finance — autonomously.

Marketplace

Every business is sellable. Code, data, and the virtual CEO — with all its memory — transfer to the new owner intact.

Step zero · free, no signup

Before you build, get a VC verdict.

The first thing you meet on Synapse. A free audit scores your idea across six axes — including whether AI agents can realistically run it.

01

Market size

TAM, SAM and SOM — how big the opportunity actually is.

02

Competitive landscape

Direct and indirect rivals, and where you differentiate.

03

Business model

Revenue model and a first-pass unit-economics estimate.

04

Risk assessment

Market, execution and regulatory risk, surfaced early.

05 · unique

Autonomy fit

Can an AI agent team execute this without constant hand-holding?

06

VC score

Five criteria, 1–10 each, rolled into a single verdict.

Fund35–50

“Build it. Here's the recommended approach” — mode, channels, and a path to launch.

Watch20–34

“Fix these three things, then resubmit.” Specific, actionable, no guesswork.

Pass0–19

“Here's why this is hard — and here are alternatives worth exploring.”

The virtual CEO

You talk to one agent. It runs the rest.

The founder becomes a Chairman: set strategy, approve anything that carries legal or financial weight, and communicate only with the CEO agent.

The CEO assigns tasks across every team, handles escalations, and starts upgrade conversations when growth hits a limit. Pricing changes, pivots, and binding commitments always escalate to you.

And it never forgets — memory survives model switches and even a change of ownership.

Hybrid by default

Agents and humans. Equal roles.

Add a person to any team as easily as an agent. The lead assigns them work the same way, through email, Slack, or in-app — they mark it complete and the workflow continues.

An agent can even lead a human, and a human can lead agents. From the system's perspective there's no hierarchy difference — just roles, doing the work.

Product factory

Three ways to build. The CEO picks the fastest fit.

Unlocked progressively by tier — or choose manually.

Mode 1 · Starter+

Template

A ready-made product from the marketplace. The CEO matches your brief, an agent forks it, rebrands it, wires integrations, and deploys.

Mode 2 · Growth+

Modular assembly

The agent reads the brief, selects from a library of core, feature, and integration modules, and writes only the custom logic that makes your product unique.

No lock-in

Synapse orchestrates. You own everything.

Your keys

Any AI, no markup.

Connect your own Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or local models. A router picks the right model per task. Catalation never touches AI billing.

Your infra

Runs on your accounts.

Fly.io, AWS, Hetzner, GCP — your credentials, your control. The DevOps agent discloses cost before every change.

Your money

Payments go direct.

Stripe connects to your own account — no legal entity required to start. Catalation never sits between you and your revenue.

Security

Your credentials, encrypted to the core.

Synapse holds your provider keys so agents can work — and treats them like the high-value secrets they are. Encrypted at rest, scoped per task, fully audited.

Envelope encryption

Never stored in plaintext.

Every key is sealed with a per-business data key, which is itself encrypted by a master key kept in a hardened vault. A database breach yields nothing but useless ciphertext.

Least privilege

One key, one task.

Each agent gets only the specific credential it needs for the specific job — never a global key. The blast radius of any compromise stays small.

Full audit

Every access logged.

Credential use is recorded with timestamp, agent, and purpose, rotated on request, and never written to logs, error messages, or the knowledge base.

The marketplace

Every business is an asset you can sell.

List a company, browse one to acquire, or start from a template. The virtual CEO transfers with the business — memory intact.

Live

Running businesses

A working product with real users and real revenue. Step in as the new Chairman.

Ready

Built, unlaunched

A complete product with no users yet — your head start on a market.

What we believe

The principles behind Synapse.

01

Idea in, business out

From a brief to paying users.

02

Validate honestly

A real VC verdict, not sales copy.

03

Build before you pay

Free company setup, paid product build.

04

Factory, orchestrator, CEO

Three layers, each defensible alone.

05

Team is primary

Permanent departments, not per-project.

06

CEO as interface

You talk to one agent only.

07

Hybrid by default

Agents and humans as equal roles.

08

Three product modes

Template, modules, or from scratch.

09

No entity to start

An individual Stripe account is enough.

10

Knowledge compounds

Every session makes the company smarter.

11

Any AI, your keys

Model-agnostic, no AI markup.

12

Your infrastructure

Synapse orchestrates, you own.

13

Sellable at any time

Every business is a transferable asset.

14

The CEO never forgets

Memory survives model and ownership changes.

Questions

What you own, and what we don't touch.

Synapse is a tool. You own the business it helps you build.

Does Catalation take a cut of my revenue?

No. Subscription only — never a revenue share. Your customers pay your own Stripe account directly. Catalation never acts as merchant, processor, or financial intermediary. Same legal footing as Vercel, GitHub, or Notion.

Do I need a registered company to start?

No. You connect Stripe as an individual or sole trader — enough in most jurisdictions. When revenue, a corporate client, or hiring makes an entity worthwhile, the CEO agent flags it and guides you through partners like Stripe Atlas or Firstbase. Catalation never registers entities itself.

Whose AI keys and infrastructure does it use?

Always yours. Connect your own Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or local models, and your own Fly.io, AWS, Hetzner, or GCP accounts. Synapse orchestrates; you own and control the costs. The DevOps agent discloses cost before every infrastructure change.

Who owns the code and the customer data?

You do. Your code, your data, your users, your revenue. Under the Data Processing Agreement you are the data controller and Catalation is the processor, GDPR Article 28 compliant. Everything is yours to keep, move, or sell.

How much can really be automated?

The CEO agent runs day-to-day operations across every team and handles routine decisions autonomously. Anything that carries legal or financial weight — pricing, pivots, partnerships, binding commitments — always escalates to you as Chairman.
