A public face for the company, switched on from the cabinet.
Your company exists on the web from the day you create it: a site published from its own repo, your own domain with a certificate, enquiry forms that land in the CRM, and — new in October — a billing portal where your customers sign in, see their invoices and balance, and your founders administer it all. Each one is a card under Web services in the cabinet.
web-site repo.Live{slug}.catalation.app
Every company gets a public site at creation, built from its web-site repository and republished on every push. The web team's tasks land in that repo like any other work; the AI site constructor that writes the content is in development.
Your domain, automatic TLS
Add a domain on the Custom domain card, set the A and TXT records it shows you, press Check connection. Ownership is verified, a Let's Encrypt certificate is issued and renewed, and the site answers on your name. Growth tier and up. The first customer domain went live the day it shipped.
Forms into the CRM, one checkbox
Tick Use on my website on a CRM capture key and the key is placed in the site's build settings while the web team gets a task to add the enquiry form. Submissions arrive as leads with spam signals that flag rather than reject. About the CRM →
An inbox for the company
Mailboxes per plan tier, an inbox with threaded conversations, HTML rendered in a sandbox with remote images blocked by default, compose and reply with a daily sending quota. Running for our own company; enabled for pilots only until the sync hardening is through review. Not generally available yet.
Customer billing and personal areas.
A billing service for the business you are running, not for your Synapse subscription. Switch it on per company and your customers get somewhere to sign in.
- Personal area at
my.catalation.com/{slug}. Customers see their contracts, invoices and balance. Sessions and data are isolated per company. - Customer sign-in at
id.catalation.com. A branded identity realm per company on a separate identity server, so your customers' accounts never share a namespace with anyone else's. - Founder admin at
billing.catalation.com. Owners and the chairman administer customers, products, contracts and the ledger; co-founders join by invitation only. - Enable it from the cabinet. Web services → Customer billing turns it on, shows status, and copies the admin and portal URLs. Connect billing to my website gives the web team a task to add Sign in and Create account links.
- What v1 is not. There is no card payment inside the portal in this release — billing is invoice- and balance-based. Your Synapse subscription and your own Stripe Connect payouts are unchanged.
- Your website shows Sign in →
id.catalation.com, in your company's branded realm. - After sign-in they land in
my.catalation.com/{slug}: contracts, invoices, balance. - You and your founders work in
billing.catalation.com; the cabinet shows whether billing is on and where it lives. - Every write is audited; membership and roles come from the same company record the CEO uses.
